The building, constructed over a hundred years ago, has been known as the Fuson Building. The Weavers purchased it in August of 1974. “We were only the third owners of the property in over 100 years,” Ross said. “It was bought for $800.00 by  F. B. Fuson in 1919, and it housed a drug store for many years.” The MFA Grocery Store was located there for several years up until the late ‘50s or early 60’s.

Named after the former owners, the facility now offers an upscale experience. Mike and Connie Roberts have rescued this two-story building which was on the verge of demolition, and filled a need for travelers who have Mansfield as a destination.
